Don't wait until you have the right words. Most therapists, including us, offer a free 15-minute consultation. You don't have to explain everything. You don't need a diagnosis. You don't need to be in crisis. If the first person you talk to isn't the right fit, that's information — not failure. A good practice will help you find someone who is.
